Shooting without knowing the edit
Footage captured with no format decided, so the edit becomes salvage. Aspect ratio, hook and length are cheaper to decide before the camera comes out than after.
Service
Short-form video, photography, and design assets produced on a predictable schedule.
Content is where most social strategies quietly fail. The plan is sound, but production is slow, expensive, or dependent on one person being available — so the calendar gets filled with whatever is to hand.
We run production as a pipeline rather than a series of one-off shoots. Concepts are developed against your content pillars, shot in batches, edited to a consistent grade and style, and delivered ready to schedule.
Everything is built against your brand guidelines. If you do not have a set, establishing one is part of onboarding.
What You Get
Not a vague retainer. These are the tangible outputs the engagement produces.
Vertical video edited for sound-off viewing — captions burned in, hooks in the first seconds, cut to the pacing each platform rewards.
Product, lifestyle, and team photography shot in batches and colour-graded to a consistent look across the account.
Templated where it helps consistency, bespoke where it matters, always to your typography and palette.
Captions and on-screen text written for the platform rather than reused across all of them.
You own the assets. Raw footage and editable project files are handed over on request.
How it runs
No mystery retainer. This is the sequence, from access to steady state.
We agree the look: reference boards, tone, colour treatment, caption voice, and the formats each channel needs. Signed off before a camera comes out.
Shoot days or asset creation, batched so you are not giving up time every week. Raw material is captured with the edit already planned.
First cuts delivered for review inside a shared approval tool, with a defined revision round rather than open-ended back-and-forth.
Formats that perform get made again. Ones that do not get dropped. The creative direction is reviewed properly each quarter, not tweaked reactively every week.
From experience
The same few problems account for most underperforming accounts we inherit. Worth knowing whether you recognise any of them.
Footage captured with no format decided, so the edit becomes salvage. Aspect ratio, hook and length are cheaper to decide before the camera comes out than after.
A landscape hero cropped down for vertical, losing the framing it was composed for. Natively shot formats outperform reformatted ones consistently enough to plan around.
Nothing on motion, captions, thumbnails or sound, so every editor invents their own and the feed looks assembled by strangers.
What It's For
Targets we work toward and report against — stated as outcomes, not guarantees.
Stated plainly so the scope is clear before anything starts. These sit outside content production and are either quoted separately or handled by someone else:
Paid usage rights for talent, music, or stock beyond the agreed licence term.
Studio hire, travel, and props — quoted per shoot rather than buried in the retainer.
Unlimited revisions. Two rounds are included per asset; further rounds are quoted.
Questions
Yes. Services can be taken individually, though they compound when combined. Content production without a strategy behind it, or paid media without conversion tracking in place, will underperform — we will say so during the call if we think a single service is the wrong starting point.
We produce it. Content production covers short-form video, photography, design, and copywriting. If you already have assets or an in-house team, we work with what exists and fill the gaps rather than duplicating effort.
You do. Ad accounts stay in your ownership throughout, and source files for produced content are handed over on request. If the engagement ends, the accounts, their history, and the assets stay with you.
These services are commonly taken alongside this one.
