FAQ

Working together
How quickly can we get started?
Onboarding usually begins within a week of the agreement being signed. The first two weeks are discovery and audit — reviewing your existing channels, competitors, and analytics — followed by strategy sign-off. Published output typically begins in week three, once you have approved the plan and the first content batch.
Do you work with businesses outside the UK?
Yes. We are based in the United Kingdom and work with clients internationally. Meetings are scheduled around your timezone, and reporting and communication are asynchronous by default, so distance rarely affects the working relationship.
Who will actually be working on my account?
Your account is handled by the strategist you meet during onboarding — it is not passed to a different team once the contract is signed. Specialists are brought in for particular work such as video editing or paid media, but the person accountable for your account stays the same.
How much input do we need to provide?
Most of the effort is front-loaded. Expect a few hours during discovery for interviews and access setup. After that, the ongoing commitment is typically a content approval window each cycle and a monthly review call. If you want more involvement, that is easy to accommodate.
How do approvals work?
Nothing publishes without your sign-off unless you explicitly ask for that step to be removed. Content is queued for review ahead of its scheduled date, you approve or request changes, and it goes out. If approval is not given in time, the post is rescheduled rather than published unreviewed.
Services
Which platforms do you manage?
Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, and Pinterest are the ones we work with most. Rather than defaulting to all of them, part of the discovery process is deciding which channels justify the effort for your specific audience — usually a smaller number, done properly.
Can I choose only one service instead of everything?
Yes. Services can be taken individually, though they compound when combined. Content production without a strategy behind it, or paid media without conversion tracking in place, will underperform — we will say so during the call if we think a single service is the wrong starting point.
Do you produce the content, or do we supply it?
We produce it. Content production covers short-form video, photography, design, and copywriting. If you already have assets or an in-house team, we work with what exists and fill the gaps rather than duplicating effort.
Who owns the content and ad accounts?
You do. Ad accounts stay in your ownership throughout, and source files for produced content are handed over on request. If the engagement ends, the accounts, their history, and the assets stay with you.
Pricing & contracts
Is ad spend included in your fees?
No. Advertising budget is paid directly by you to the platforms and is separate from our management fee. This keeps your spend transparent and means the ad account remains under your control.
Are there lock-in contracts?
No long-term lock-in. Engagements run on a rolling basis with a notice period agreed at the outset. We would rather keep clients because the work justifies it than because a contract makes leaving difficult.
What does a typical engagement cost?
Pricing depends on the number of channels, content volume, and whether paid media is included. Indicative package pricing is listed on the pricing page, and an exact figure is quoted after the strategy call once the scope is clear. There are no setup fees beyond what is quoted.
What happens if we want to pause?
Engagements can be paused with notice — seasonal businesses do this regularly. Your content calendar, assets, and account access remain intact, so restarting does not mean beginning again from discovery.
Results & reporting
How do you measure success?
Against metrics agreed with you at the outset, not platform defaults. For most clients that means enquiries, qualified leads, or revenue attributable to social, with reach and engagement treated as leading indicators rather than the goal itself.
How long before we see results?
Paid media produces readable data within weeks, because you are buying distribution directly. Organic growth is slower and compounds — meaningful movement typically takes a few months of consistent publishing. Anyone promising you a specific figure by a specific date before seeing your account is guessing.
What reporting will we receive?
A live dashboard you can check whenever you want, written performance analysis on an agreed cadence, and a quarterly strategy review. Reports explain what changed and what we are doing about it, rather than just listing numbers.
What if the results are not there?
We set measurable targets at the start and review them openly. If performance is behind, the review call covers why and what changes — and if we conclude we are not the right fit for the work, we will tell you rather than let the retainer continue.
